Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS)
The Intervention and Referral Services Committee, I&RS, (formerly known as the Pupil Assistance Committee, P.A.C.) is composed of teachers, counselors, administrators and other professionals. The purpose of this committee is to identify students who are experiencing difficulty in school and develop strategies to assist the student to succeed. In addition, the I&RS Committee also serves as a referral service for students to be evaluated by the Child Study Team. When a student is referred to the I&RS Committee, this group will meet with the parent/guardian to discuss the student's situation and to develop a plan of action.

Please contact your child’s counselor for more information on the Intervention and Referral Services process.
